HSV Rotary Club learns approximately Computers four Kids

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — Villagers Bob McClesky and Loren Loberg spoke on the Jan. 31 meeting of Hot Springs Village Rotary Club about the Computers four Kids software.

C4K, which has been in existence for approximately 10 years, is housed on the Unitarian Universalist Village Church and refurbishes donated computers. Old computer systems are upgraded with cutting-edge software after the difficult pressure is completely wiped to eliminate all non-public facts, files and applications.

The donated computers are then located with people who want one, which includes students and adults who try to enhance their lives, in addition to nonprofit organizations, a news launch said.

Working with six volunteers, C4K is a registered refurbisher and actively supports the Bridges out of Poverty program.

“Laptops are mainly had to help homeless kids, of whom there are stated to be approximately three hundred in this region,” the release said.

To make a contribution a pc, donors might also drop it off on the UU Village Church positioned at the corner of Barcelona Road and Calella, or they can make preparations for pc to be picked up through calling 501-781-0598 and leaving a message.
