Food transport apps like Swiggy, Zomato, Uber Eats, which have been confirmed to be a boon for thousands of hassled time-crunched customers in the metropolis, have additionally been accused of inflicting visitors chaos and disruption. Such is the trouble that residents from areas like Matunga, Ghatkopar, Kandivali, and many others. Have even approached the government looking for movement in opposition to the transport boys of those services. They claim the transport dealers power rashly and park haphazardly, leading to site visitors snarls.
“Just multiple days ago, the site visitors police cleared several motorcycles parked on the footpaths outdoor restaurants in Kings Circle. We made numerous proceedings to BMC and Traffic police about this, but no avail,” stated Nikhil Desai, a resident of Matunga.

We are satisfied to extend any help or help to the government too,” a Zomato spokesperson stated. Uber Eats did not respond to an electronic mail sent on this difficulty.
