Union Minister for Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation, Suresh Prabhu, released schemes, Hirkani Maharashtrachi, and District Business Plan Competition in Mumbai on February 09, 2019.
It aims at providing a platform for ladies’ Self Help Groups (SHGs) and marketers.
Motivating the girls inside the society, he stated, “The call Hirkani is due to the fact we want the girls to come back forward inside the shape of Hirkani and clear up social issues, stated the Minister.”
Stating that Self Help Groups in Konkan had been beginning 25 years ago, Shri Prabhu stated that women from such groups have grown their business and feature turn out to be assured in their lives. He introduced an unfastened platform on GeM for artisans and girls’ SHGs to sell their merchandise.

The District Innovation Council will arrange for pitching classes and assemblies with various investors to take forth the thoughts/products/services to be launched to better their respective districts.
